Graphic Design USA Recognizes The Worx Group with Ten Design Awards
Integrated Marketing Agency to be honored by prominent national design publication in December 2007 issue

(PROSPECT, CT, Tuesday, October 2, 2007) - Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) recently awarded The Worx Group with ten unique recognitions for design work in both print and interactive mediums in their annual awards issue. The Worx Group is no stranger to the competition, as the agency has been recognized with 25 awards over the past three years from the publication. The 2007 American Graphic Design Awards are sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated and features unique designs from some of the best marketing and advertising agencies nationwide.

"The Worx Group is once again among the most honored firms in the very competitive American Graphic Design Awards" stated Gordon Kaye, Editor and Publisher of GDUSA. "Their performance this year, and indeed in this competition over the past three years, has shown The Worx Group to be exceptional at combining creativity and strategy for clients."

Among The Worx Group's award-winning designs was the Sheaffer Pen website featuring a personalized style selector and interactive testimonials entitled "Sheaffer's Signature Stories." Striving to reinvigorate the century old Sheaffer brand that has been a division of BIC USA Inc. since 1997, The Worx Group created the unique media initiative by adding a personal touch designed to resonate with visitors. "Not only will The Worx Group's strategy for this site rejuvenate the Sheaffer brand, but it will redefine how all other sites in the industry are viewed," stated Chris Mills, General Manager BIC Australia Pty. Ltd.

In addition, The Worx Group also received an award for their design of the 2006 Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT) Annual Report. An active participant in the Connecticut community, The Worx Group has been involved with Special Olympics for over 10 years and has produced both online and print collateral for the organization. "The Worx Group has been tremendously dedicated to Special Olympics Connecticut and has helped change the lives of thousands of athletes. When the 2006 Annual Report was created we knew that it stood out as the best we have ever had. This is such a well deserved award for The Worx Group and we are honored that they have been part of the SOCT family for so many years," stated Beau Doherty, President of SOCT.

The 2007 Graphic Design Awards will be published in the December issue of GDUSA. Additional Worx Group designs to be featured are: ESPN Super Bowl XLI Collateral, Winter Antiques Show Brand Collateral, Unger Website, Quaero Capital Strategies Stationery, FedEx Racing Email Marketing and IBM US Open DVD Packaging.
