The Worx Group Bolsters Nationally Recognized Team

Integrated Marketing Firm Adds Two Key Players to Expand on Continued Success

In response to a growing base of high caliber accounts and a commitment to continuous improvement, The Worx Group recently added two new team players that will play pivotal roles in the long term future of the firm. New additions include Steven Harris as Director of Operations and Charlie Callahan as Business Development Manager.

The hires join a firm that has recently garnered local and national attention. The Worx Group won ten American Graphic Design Awards in the annual juried competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine, the most awards received by any firm in the country for 2005. In addition, Vice President of Design Grant Copeland was named one of Graphic Design USA magazine's "People to Watch" for 2006. Other accolades include: voted Best Graphic Design Firm and Best Advertising & Marketing Company in an annual poll conducted by the Waterbury Observer newspaper, ranked the top Web Design Company in the greater New Haven area by Business New Haven magazine for the fourth consecutive year and ranked in the top ten of New Haven area Advertising Agencies, Public Relations Firms and Internet Hosting Services companies by Business New Haven.

"We couldn't be happier about the additions of Steve or Charlie or the position we have earned in the marketing communications field," commented Joe Gugliotti, Managing Member of The Worx Group. "Enhancing our operations, sales and creative team with two professionals of this caliber will only help us further impact the goal of our clients, employees and community."

Steve Harris comes to The Worx Group with a long history of success managing the day-to-day operations of several major creative studios, most recently serving as Studio Services Director for J. Walter Thompson in New York, the nation's oldest and largest advertising agency. While at JWT New York, Harris managed all aspects of the 50-person profit-center studio while leading his creative development and presentation teams to four-out-of-five new business wins, including L.L. Bean and JetBlue. Charlie Callahan joins The Worx Group from ESPN with extensive experience in sports television, strategic marketing, event management and client relations. While at ESPN, Callahan was a strategic marketing executive serving as a direct point of contact for affiliate field sales for all marketing and promotional initiatives.

"Complacency is not an option for us. We are always striving to lend more value and expertise to our clients' business objectives and the value these new additions bring will be immediate and powerful," added Donna Palomba, Managing Member.
