The Worx Group promotes Grant Copeland to Vice President of Design

Prospect, CT - November 22, 2005 - Grant Copeland was recently promoted to Vice President of Design at The Worx Group, an integrated marketing communications firm in Prospect, CT. Grant joined The Worx Group as Creative Director in April this year as part of a merger with i2i Creative. He quickly became a major contributor to the creative and strategic efforts of the firm, prompting the promotion.

"Grant has been a key part of our recent success, and we are thrilled to recognize his strategic initiatives and exceptional work with this important role," remarked Donna Palomba, managing member of The Worx Group.

A nationally-recognized creative director and designer, Copeland has developed programs for clients including FedEx, IBM, and Cingular Wireless, and his work has been featured in publications such as Sports Illustrated, Gray's Sporting Journal, Graphic Design USA, and Design News. Recently, Copeland led The Worx Group creative team to win ten American Graphic Design awards in the 42nd annual juried competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine - the most awards given to any firm in the country. Copeland will also be featured in the January issue of Graphic Design USA as one of their "People to Watch in 2006."

In addition to leading design initiatives, Copeland's major function at The Worx Group is to mentor and develop each designer. His philosophy centers around designers being strategic thinkers and not just artists in order to provide more value for clients.
