Dutch Hollis Promoted to Vice President of Operations

Operations Manager Accepts Vice Presidency at Local Marketing Agency

(PROSPECT, CT, April 22, 2004) - Dutch Hollis was recently promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Worx Group, LLC, at 18 Waterbury Rd. in Prospect. He has been a key player for the progressive marketing firm since March 1997.

Hollis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, OH. He followed up that degree with a master of arts in Mass Communications from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (formerly Northeast Louisiana University). During graduate school, he served as a radio journalist, which helped him gain valuable communications experience. Upon graduation, Hollis relocated to Bristol, Connecticut to serve as an editor with ESPN.

He took special notice of the Internet and realized it would be a driving force behind today's new media. Hollis taught himself how to write html and networked with other Internet-savvy business professionals. Hollis combined his understanding of information technology with his robust communications background and subsequently joined Web-worx as a convergence media consultant and producer.

As his knowledge of the Internet and day-to-day responsibilities increased, Hollis' role within Web-worx evolved into Executive Producer. He spearheaded the design and maintenance of a multitude of clients' Internet sites, including BIC Corporation, Bob's Stores, MacDermid, Inc. and many more. Hollis was promoted to Operations Manager of Web-worx in 2000.

In 2003, Web-worx and GP&P Marketing Communications merged together to form The Worx Group, offering clients the best of print, web and multimedia marketing. As Operations Manager of Web-worx, Hollis was a natural choice to assume the same role for the new entity.

"Dutch's leadership and expertise was evident in his role as Operations Manager for Web-worx. He is very deserving of his expanded role at the Worx Group." explained Donna Palomba, Managing Member of The Worx Group.

As Vice President of Operations for The Worx Group, his new position requires Hollis to oversee 35 employees within four departments. He handles the day-to-day operations of the company and is responsible for hiring and training new employees.
