Joe Bottone Promoted to Vice President of Business Development

Director of Sales Accepts Vice Presidency of Local Marketing Agency

(PROSPECT, CT, April 22, 2004) - Joseph N. Bottone was recently promoted to Vice President of Business Development for the Worx Group, LLC, at 18 Waterbury Rd. in Prospect. He has been a major contributor to the growth of the progressive marketing firm since December 2002.

Bottone has over 18 years of combined experience and study in the fields of Sales and Marketing. He attended Southern Connecticut State University and Fairfield University where he studied the principals of Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Graphic Design, Management, and Business Administration.

In 1997, Bottone won the National Sales Award for top sales performance from Channel-Kor Exhibits in Bloomington, IN. Bottone was invited three years in a row to speak at Channel-Kor's National Sales Meeting.

Prior to this position, Bottone served as Vice President of Client Relations at DART Design & Company, Sales Manager for Corporate Display Specialties, Inc., and President of Impact Advertising. Joe first consulted with The Worx Group towards the end of 2002 on sales and business development. Over the course of the next year, Joe joined The Worx Group on a full-time basis as the Director of Client Relations. That position evolved into his current role as Vice President of Business Development.

Leveraging his experience in tradeshow marketing, Bottone was a key player for The Worx Group in the landing of the Reed Exhibitions, National Manufacturing Week account.

As Vice President of Sales for The Worx Group, Bottone is responsible for new business development and customer relations. He also heads the Tradeshow Display and Graphics division of the company. Bottone is also a sales and marketing consultant who helps The Worx Group's customers achieve measurable increases in their revenue through proven sales and marketing initiatives.

Bottone is currently writing a book illustrating the remarkable differences between traditional selling and a consultative sales approach. In addition to working on his book, Bottone is also a public speaker, providing several seminars on sales and marketing for organizations and events throughout Connecticut.

Bottone makes his home in Bethany with his wife and three sons. He enjoys spending time with his family and his favorite pastime is watching his son's sporting events.
