Brian Charlonis Joins The Worx Group as Account Manager

(PROSPECT, CT, December 1, 2004) - Brian Charlonis recently joined The Worx Group, Greater Waterbury's premier advertising agency, as an Account Manager.

Charlonis has over 12 years of experience with both traditional and new marketing communications channels. He has been involved with designing, producing and managing of a diverse scope of marketing projects on the web, as well as for print, packaging, television, CD-ROMs, presentations and software development. He has worked with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer industries for a variety of well-known brands, such as AT&T, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Conair, ESPN, PanAmSat, Remington Products Company, Revlon, and Vidal Sassoon. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Fine Art from The University of Hartford, The Hartford Art School. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for the Association for Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business.

Prior to this position, Charlonis served as a Marketing Associate for SS&C Technologies, Inc., where he was the primary contributor of strategic marketing communications for B2B investment and financial management products and services, increasing response rates from both direct and database marketing initiatives.

Previous to that, Charlonis served as a Senior Web Producer and Senior Technical Lead for Shockwave Flash worldwide, for Breakaway Solutions in New York. Charlonis worked out of the Branding and User Experience office in Manhattan and wrote the company's methodology for producing Shockwave Flash projects for 11 offices worldwide.

Presently, Charlonis is the account manager for several chief accounts for The Worx Group, such as Reed Exhibitions, Inc. He also manages Doctors Research Group, NVRA Imaging Network, D'Amico, Griffin & Pettinicchi, and The Alinabal Group of Companies among others. He acts as the main point person between these clients and the agency, synchronizing multiple marketing projects across print, web and multimedia.
