GenesisSolutions is a leader in industrial asset optimization, providing services to major corporations throughout North America. Being a highly-sophisticated operation, Genesis wanted a new website that challenged the conventions of the industry. Built entirely in Flash (using only one Flash file), the site randomly loads one of three different introductory vignettes to give it a fresh, continually-updated feel, features hundreds of downloadable PDF documents and a bookstore, and has no loading bars. A unique coding solution also monitors user interaction within the site, and generates statistics and tracking information in the same way a traditional HTML-based site does. The site created such a buzz when unveiled at the biggest industry trade show of the year that it was made the default site on all presentation computers at the show. Site traffic has increased over 600% since going live, and the piece recently won a national design award from Graphic Design USA magazine.
