Now watch me pull this rabbit out of a hat!
Who wants to go to North Carolina in the middle of August - isn't it too hot?
Well on August 17th at the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina, it was hotter inside than it was outside! That was the day of the MAGIC Software Show where Bob Guidotti, the Vice President for Worldwide WebSphere Sales of the IBM Software Group, outlined IBM's latest developments and gave the 300-plus executives in attendance a renewed understanding of why IBM is known as Big Blue. I mean, these are the types of advancements that we all talk about and think "some day." Well that day has arrived. As if the current portfolio of IBM products wasn't enough to try and understand, here comes a whole new round! Plus, the MAGIC Software Show was highlighted by a rousing address from featured speaker Mike "Coach K" Krzyzewski of the Duke University men's basketball program.
